All of our on-campus accommodation includes gas, electric and water bills, wi-fi, 24/7 security, free parking and access to sports and wellbeing facilities. With lecture spaces, labs, shops and cafes just a short walk away and lots of safe communal areas to relax and socialise, our campus offers a true sense of comfort and community.

The shared houses are very popular and are perfect if you are a full-time student looking for a single room and an alternative to traditional halls of residence. In total, there are 132 single rooms across all of our shared houses on campus.

  • Car parking is available and the sports hall and tennis courts are also situated nearby.
  • No smoking is permitted within the shared houses.

Our accommodation is managed in accordance with for University Managed Accommodation.

Fees (2025-26 academic session)

  • Very small rooms (up to 9m2): £17.60 per day (£123.22 per week)
  • Small rooms (up to 13m2): £19.48 per day (£136.34 per week)
  • Medium rooms (up to 18m2): £21.49 per day (£150.43 per week)
  • Large rooms (up to 25m2): £23.28 per day (£162.95 per week)

These rates are for 2025-26 and all rates are subject to change for 2026-27.

Bedrooms

Each single bedroom within the shared houses is fully furnished with the following:

  • wardrobe
  • drawers
  • single bed
  • bedside cabinet
  • desk and desk chair
  • notice board
  • study lamp
  • litter bin
  • wireless internet facilities

There are a total of 126 rooms available between our shared houses.

Catering

The shared houses are self-catered residences and have kitchen facilities which are shared between the 4 to 6 students who share each house.

The kitchens are equipped with the following:

  • fridge freezer
  • cooker
  • microwave
  • toaster and kettle
  • crockery, cooking and eating utensils

Bathrooms

Bathrooms are shared between the 3 to 7 students in each house; usually there is at least one shower and toilet on each floor of the house.

Cleaning

We carry out weekly cleaning of the communal areas such as kitchens and corridors.

Heating and electricity

The heating is usually on from October to April.
